Donation Drives

Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who was involved in the clothing drive for the Nashville Rescue Mission during Durga Puja. Since this event was so successful we have decided to add two more days during which you can donate items. The full list of clothing they need is below. You may also donate items that are not on the needed list, but if you are looking for specific items, please remember the list below.

For all items be sure that they have been washed and neatly folded. If they are not then we cannot take them.

All items donated must be new or gently used except for the items that are specified otherwise.

Secondly, our volunteering day this year is November 10, 2018 10am-1pm. This year we will be working with the Nashville Food Project. This volunteering day is to help the Nashville Food Project with Meal prep. For Meal Prep you can expect to do varied tasks ranging from preparing garden salads, fruit salads and desserts. Please also have everyone wear close-toed shoes and be prepared to have fun! The Hillsboro Kitchen is located at our office (3605 Hillsboro Pike, 37215). We are located next to Woodmont Christian Church in a small white building right next door. You will should see the silver Nashville Food Project food trucks out front.

If you are interested in volunteering on this day please email Reeta Bandyopadhyay at reetabando@hotmail.com. In your message please include your name, email address, phone number, and whether you have Whatsapp. Spaces are limited! I will be making a list and a waiting list if we have more people interested than there is space for. A week before the event I will give all full details.

Finally, I am very pleased to announce that we have begun a BAGN Marketplace. The purpose of this group is to donate items for sale. This group is closed, but anyone can join! Please invite people to join this group.
